you are allowed to shape your life the way you want to.
listen to me. no one can decide what your life looks like
no one else except you. no app can. no person on the internet can. your friends can't. even your parents can't.
HOWEVER
THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN'T LISTEN TO OTHER PEOPLE'S ADVICE!
take it, because we have been advised to "Admonish [others] in [their] faults, and also receive admonition of [them]." (D&C 6:19) we can use what we've learned from others to shape our own lives. in fact, we're meant to! a picture needs many different colors to really stand out- even sometimes different shades of the same color.
so, don't be afraid to shape your life the way you want to. be bold, be brave, and immerse yourself in the work God has prepared for you.
don't be afraid to experiment, either. failure is just research unless you don't try again.
let your life come as it is! come as you are! and love yourself every step of the way- bc you have potential, no matter what.
